Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AI Notebook, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of the Service

AI Notebook is a note-taking app for Android that includes AI-assisted rewriting, a "chat with your notes" feature, text-to-speech, optional Google Drive backup, colored notes, PIN or biometric-locked private notes, home screen widgets, PDF export, and a rich text editor. The app is currently free to use and supported by advertising.

3. Eligibility

AI Notebook does not have a stated minimum age requirement and may be used by people of any age. If you are using the app on behalf of a child, you are responsible for supervising their use in accordance with your own judgment and any applicable local requirements.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the notes you write in the app. This includes any text generated using the AI-assisted rewrite or chat-with-notes features based on your own notes — that generated text belongs to you, the same as any note you write yourself.

By using Drive backup, you are simply storing a copy of your own content in your own Google Drive account; we do not claim any ownership or license over it.

5. AI Features and Their Limits

The AI-assisted rewrite and chat-with-notes features are powered by Google's Gemini API. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You should review any AI-generated content before relying on it. AI Notebook and Shuazi LLC are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated text.

6. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Google Drive, Google Gemini, and Google AdMob. Your use of features built on these services is also subject to Google's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of these third-party services.

7. Advertising

The app displays advertisements delivered through Google AdMob to support free access to the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. If you have Drive backup enabled, disconnecting your Google account or disabling backup in settings will stop further syncing; your existing backed-up notes will remain in your own Google Drive unless you delete them yourself.

We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any feature of it, at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

The AI Notebook app itself, including its design, branding, and underlying software (but not your notes or content, as described in Section 4), is the property of Shuazi LLC. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app outside of what's permitted by the platform you downloaded it from (Google Play).

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Notebook is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-generated content will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shuazi LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the app.

12. Governing Law

Shuazi LLC is not currently formally registered as a business entity in any jurisdiction. As a result, these Terms do not specify a governing law or jurisdiction at this time. This section will be updated once Shuazi LLC completes formal business registration.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
